This June, several members of our lab traveled to San Sebastian to present their work at the 15th International Symposium on Bilingualism (ISB15). The conference brought together researchers from around the world to explore how bilingualism shapes cognition, language development, and social life and we were thrilled to be part of the conversation.

From code- switching to cross-linguistic influence, our team shared a diverse range of studies on bilingual speakers across different communities and contexts. It was a fantastic opportunity to exchange ideas, get feedback, and connect with scholars working on similar questions.

• Pronoun Interpretation and Use in Turkish Heritage Speakers: A Comparative Study in Germany and the US - Porru, Martohardjono & Bayram.

• The influence of morphophonological variables on the acceptability and processing of code-switching within aspectual structures - Castillo, Martohardjono.

• Predictive Processing of Structural, Lexical, and Inherent Cases in L2 Russian - Vancelette.

• The L2 Processing of relative clauses with an OVS word order: A self-paced reading study with L1 English-L2 Italian learners - Franciotti.
